Is there such thing as a book on GianPaolo Dallara?
Here's a man who's been involved in every echelon of motorsport for some decades now, and yet I only know some very basic facts about him:
His company, Dallara Automobili, was founded in 1972, and is based near Parma, Italy. He was responsible for the design of F3 (the first one being the Wolf-Dallara in 1978), F2, Sport prototype, Indy and F1 cars (including the De Tomaso and the Dallara cars run by Scuderia Italia), along with several Lamborghini road cars.
If there's not such thing as bio, can someone perhaps identify an magazine article about him?
please...

All that I have on this is a newsclipping account:
Canadian owner seeks Can-Am series victory
The Vancouver Sun, Saturday, May 21, 1977
LONDON (AP) - Canadian oil millionaire Walter Wolf, whose Grand Prix car is leading the world driver's championship announced Friday a new 200 mile-per-hour contender for the Can-Am road racing series, opening at St. Jovite, Quebec, June 12.
The Wolf-Dallara WD1 will be driven by New Zealand veteran Chris Amon through the series for which Wolf has budgeted $300,000.
The new Can-Am car has been designed and built by Gianpaolo d'Allara, senior design engineer of the luxury Lamborghini range at Varano d'Melegari near Parma, Italy.
Powered by a 500 horsepower Falconer and Dunn Chevrolet engine, it has been tested on a circuit near Parma and Amon said, "She goes like a rocket. She'll certainly hit 200 mph on the fast circuits like Watkins Glen and Riverside."
Wolf said the Can-Am program is independent of the Grand Prix effort, and would not affect Jody Scheckter's race for the world title. The Austrian-born Wolf said he was going into the Can-Am series because it "has never been won by a Canadian."
"I'm in there flying the Canadian flag on the rear wing of our car and Chris and I are aiming to show the Yankees a view of that flag - from the rear."
Front runners in the series are expected to be Britons Brian Redman and Peter Gethin and Australian Warwick Brown in Lolas, Briton Jackie Oliver in a Shadow and Australian Vern Schuppan in an Elfin.
Race dates are June 12, St. Jovite; June 26, Laguna Seca, Calif.; July 10, Watkins Glen, N.Y.; July 24, Elkhart Lake, Wis.; Aug. 7, Mid Ohio; Aug. 21, Mosport, Ont.; Sept.4, Trois Rivieres, Quebec; Sept. 25, Sears Point, Calif.; Oct. 16, Riverside, Calif.; and one other race yet to be decided.

Maybe it's a little OT (as none of you made any error), but I focus your attention to a potential misunderstanding.
In car racing there are two Italian technicians with very similar name and surname:
Few info on Dallara Automobili can be found on its official website (in English).
Ciao,
Guido
