Here’s some examples from the site:


In Hungary 2000 Mika was fourth on the starting grid and after the first corner he was in first position and he won the race, In the press conference he said "that sort of things can happen only once in life... it's really great!"
But exactly the same thing happened again and in the conference he said "Well you remember what I said to you last time? Well I was wrong...that can happen two times in life!"

You had all these noise from the crowd all this excitement and Mika did not react at all. Afterwards I said MIKA what happened what is wrong? Well, he replied, I am focused on Sundays race."

woo...i can't beleive mika said all that.i mean i never thought of mika that way.he was always very reserved on camera(at least when i saw) and never spoke much in interviews!...awesome.

Me too. I mean, they certainly compilated 'Mika Hakkinen's collected remarks 1991-2001' as a whole there, didnt they?

When he was speaking in Finnish he was often more open and didn't limit his comments to those dry remarks of him. For example when he was a commentator in Indy-race for Canal digital he was almost talkative ;)....
