Well, their schedules seemed to work out for creating a child, so they have must been pretty close at least for a short moment.

Well, with his history and lifestyle, she can hardly claim that she was "surprised" by such a behaviour from him.

Women like to shop, and for that you need money.

Because he's a massively successful businessman who instead of working a 'dull' job like Wall Street, had a much more flashy and impressive tenure at Benetton (corporately) and then in F1.
If you were going to invite your gf to visit your work, you thikn she'd be more impressed seeing a board room meeting or a GP start?

Maybe the poor girl just had enough.
Oh well ... when she calls, I'll be ready. Even if she's having Flavio's kid.

I once met a guy whose friend was the first boy-friend of Claudia Schiffer. He came up with some photos of 18-year-old Claudia standing in the kichen and stuff. Pretty girl but no sign yet of superstardom. What I am trying to say - much sexiness just lies in their social status and not in their looks. Klum is a nice girl but she is the typical Fräulein Sekretärin if you ask me.
Instead, Nadja Auermann rocks...legs up to heaven.

Succesful?
Do you know why FB worked for Benetton in USA and not in Italy? He could not go back to Italy because he was found guilty of corruption and was condemned to 4 years to jail. He escaped to a fiscal paradis and then the success started.
And how about the bombs? One in Italy and another in England. He's really a cheap maffioso who had enough luck to do not finish under a stone and who ended earning money in a legal way. But it was just luck.
A very interesting guy. Probably that's also what attracts him those women.

much sexiness lies in the quality of their photographer. also much sexiness lies in them shutting the **** up, and this is a fact. did you ever hear claudia schiffer talk ? geezuz...
personally i see more interesting and more beautiful (read: less boring looking) women everyday on the street or in the subway.
now i really can understand them going for flavour flav, i`m shure he`s a good laugh. being pregnant from him might be a different matter, though... briatore probably files his constant efforts in the catwalk cat area under pr-work.

B - I think she's a fox with beautiful bone structure, tight buns and natural breasts
C - As to hearing Claudia Schiffer speak English, it's not her native language so why should she criticized for not being fluent? She does better than most but she and Klum are not getting any younger and, child or not, Briatore was going to trade up sooner rather than later
D - Based on nothing more than a hunch, I think Renault is going to be right there with Williams in fighting Ferrari and that McLaren have not been sandbagging in recent tests.
E - The latter opinion was just bolstered when I learned that McLaren are to introduce a newer car during the season. I don't think that's the way to win a championship.
F - Whenever Briatore takes an active interest in Bennetton/Renault they seem to be more successful even though I've read that he's more of a promoter than anything else. I think he and Schumacher had at least one more championship in them with Bennetton, maybe more.

B - whatever
C - i was referring to an interview given in german. i am a native german speaker.
D - agreed
E - agreed
F - agreed, though the questions regarding the benetton still remain.

Thanks for that. I don't know Italian, but I used a translation website and spent some time reading it.

Okay, the translation was not good, so I could not make much sense of it. But it seems like it may be a very interesting article.
Grandprix.com mentions that he survived a bomb scare outside his hotel in London. The website you mentioned above 'seems' to suggest (it's really hard to be sure) that the English police thought it was the work of the IRA rather than the Mafia. The rest of the original article was translated from Italian into English so badly by the translation website that I can't be sure what was being said.
But thanks for the link.
Grandprix.com suggest that Briatore has a very uncertain past:
From Cuneo in northern Italy, Briatore grew up in the mountains and worked both as a ski instructor (Comment: Same job as Craig Pollock..) , and in the restaurant trade. He has, however, told people that he served with the French Foreign Legion (Comment: Did he say that to impress Renault?) while early Benetton F1 press releases suggest that he even did some rally driving.(Comment: Can anyone confirm this?) Whatever the case he was definitely working on the Italian stock exchange in the early 1970s

Flavio Briatore: 19-jährige neue Freundin
16. Februar 2004 - 18:02 Uhr
Translates loosely as: she's a German student and actress, she's from the same hometown as Heidi, she says their love is still very young, she doesn't want to be seen as the woman who robbed Heidi of her man, she denies looking anything like Heidi, she got to know Flabio at a Unesco gala in Nov last year. So there you are.....

Well, he is very, very rich. He does not "pay for it" as such, but must treat them to very expensive meals and gifts, really expensive clothes, plus will have a house like a palace etc.

you are right with the bomb in London. The police said it was an IRA bomb. Probably because if you don’t know who put the bomb who else could be? The first bomb in Cuneo (Italy) was the one that killed his boss (not a mafia boss but the man who was employing him). He escaped to that bomb and decided to escape from the city.
The article explains a lot of things. For example that he joined a group (I would say a criminal band) that used to get money from rich people playing cards and betting huge amounts of money. The cards where marked so it was easy. Flavio was the man that should contact the rich people and attract them to these play meetings. Interesting that one of the guys implied is a journalist who presents the news in one of Berlusconi’s channels and that is known in Italy as the biggest defender of Berlusconi on the media. Well some say is the official Berlusconi’s ass-kisser. Seems that FB has nowadays good contacts: Berlusconi, Aznar (FB was one of the Wedding-Godfathers ??? of Aznar’s daughter) and much more (he used to met some of the well-known mafia bosses). Anyway FB was condemned for the illegal betting and fraud but he escaped to America.
It’s a pity that the automatic translators are not so good because it’s worth reading.

"Von einer Liebesbeziehung würde ich noch nicht wirklich sprechen. Wir sind Freunde.“
Free translation. "I wouldn't yet speak of a romantic relationship. We are friends".
But as we all know..guys and girls who are friends, sooner or later one of them (or both) wants to sleep with the other.;)

worthless...bastard...has-been... that sounds like the Flavio we all know and admire so much. I wonder how long Renault will put up with his antics, and with his vested interests in drivers? He really doesn't do them any favours PR-wise, does he?
Come back Tom Walkinshaw, all is forgiven!

In the showbiz world though, it would be so hard to know if someone is really your friend, or "looking for something" as The Eurythmics said in "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This". That sort of fame, and the huge sums of money involved turns people insane with greed, power and paranoia.
As Jack Nicholson said in Batman ;"Who do you trust, hubba hubba hubba, who do you trust?"
Plus the men never trust women who are so beautiful, so that's a disaster right there. And they are usually on a big ego trip, in fact they both are, rich successful people are used to getting anything they want. Then you have the woman wanting to settle down, and you can't tell if its for money or love because you aren't used to sincerity in the bullshit showbiz/business world.
It's a shame. I really feel for the kid, that kid will be fecked up big time. But let's face it, it will never have to work in a shop to get college fees.
