The Group C mod for F1C has been released. I haven't got it yet as I'm stuck at work for the next few hours but by all reports it is excellent.

I have downloaded it. It's... absolutely fantastic.

I have raced on Monza and LeMans so far. What a fun!

The Peugeot cars are fantastic to drive in their later years of development.

Easy installation, great config tool, super mod!

There are some bugs, but this mod is already going to get you 'wasted' on several evenings...

Big  to the team the worked on that.

!!!A must have!!! for every F1C owner.

I've found these cars way, way easier to get into than any other mod. They are easy enough to drive under the limit (at least, when you get used to how peaky the engines are) but on the limit they are just fantastic! The amount of speed you can carry through some of the high speed corners at Rouen and LeMans is just so cool. Some decent AI, excellent interface, very nice tracks, car models and physics all make it a real must-have.

Yeah.. great mod :)

Done a few laps with it now, and its good fun. The cars are easy to drive fast, but hard to get the most out of. The little i have seen of the AI seems ok, and the tracks are great. Well worht the download :)

Although i have a gfx bug i haven't sorted out yet (some cars get nasty gfx incar, with strange triangles and noise, and some cars get very strange "shadow" arund them when you drive near them), but i must admitt i haven't really investigated the cause either. Probably a simple driver/setting issue.

Check out Jerez! Sweet.

The only things that bothers me is huge difference in performance of cars. When in later Toyotas or Peugeots, most of the rest of cars are just sitting ducks... But I guess that's how the real life was...

OK, anyone that doesn't have it already can grab it here:

There'll be a queue to receieve it but it was just generating too much traffic on RSC's own server.

Rouen, Mugello/Scarperia, Brands, Monza, Fuji, Jerez and Le Mans.
Magnificent mod...
U can also drive Schumacher and Schlesser's C291s, Irvine's TS010 and also the 905 (best car IMO).
The people which designed this mod are genuises.

Most funny is the BRM P351. True to its history(only 3 turnups, at Silverstone, it broke down on the warmup lap, at LeMans, it lasted only 20 laps before it caught fire in the pits, and at the Glen, it completed 1 lap before it started overheating, and that too, after it had to be hotwired to get it onto the grid... :rotfl: ) And the car u drive will follow this pleasant array of consistent retirements if you be just a little too rough with it...so no Raidillion straight for this baby...as I found out first time...I was going along the Raidillion straight in the BRM, and suddenly, there was terrible engine dying noise and the tacho slowly going down and down to zero...I thought..man...wth is going on? Then looked in the mirrors and saw black smoke streaming out...after switching to an external cam, saw my engine was looking to beat McLaren's attempts at engine fireworks...
