Hello, a little question to satisfy my curiosity. Anyone out there knows what material the F1 visor tear-off strips are made of? Knowing F1, it must be some hi-tech material?

I don't believe teams would invest a whole lot of cash into... tear-offs..
Probably plastic like everyone else.

I guess they are made of acetate judging by the feel and thin-ness of them. I imagine some form of surface coating could be used that could make them more special, but most of the coatings are on the polycarbonate visor.
