Jan Magnesson(spelling?) did, and it didn't seem to help him.
But as for regular smokers on the current grid I don't believe there are any.

I've seen those pics too, I thought they were for and advert for Marlboro though :

The first smoke was apparently to celebrate the smoking of Woobens . The second one was the bigger one ...this time to celebrate smokin the field. ...and the second one was manufactured by .....guess who ....a company called " Smoke 'em"

Mika Salo smoked all through his F1 career and he only quit when Toyota hired him to lead the team into F1, he totally changed his prioraties then.
Mika Hakinnen smoked and still does, DC once siad that he caught Mika out behind the team trailer lighting up a Marlboro! It was embarrasing for both of them DC said!

I think that is what hampered Mika Salo in his career. I heard that one of the reasons Ferrari never seriously considered him for the 2nd seat in 2000 was because he was a regular smoker.
Hakkinen on the other hand only smoked occasionally (I suppose because of the stress) and kept it secret so it was never a big deal.

I'm going to write to Max and suggest each driver must make a pitstop during a race and smoke a joint before preceeding with the rest of the race.
