Actually the 1976 race was damp if I recall correctly.

Finally a wet race !!!
This morning it is raining in Monza and it doesn't look like the rain will stop before the start of the race. The temperature is currently 19 degrees. If the rain will become more heavily the race will be started behind the safety-car. If rains keeps falling down the Italian Grand Prix will be the first race of the 2004 season in wet conditions.
Juan Pablo Montoya commented this morning on the weather: "If it rains or not, it doesn't make any difference to me. We'll see what will happen."
Michael Schumacher is known for being an expert in wet conditions. The German seemed to be in a good mood this morning. He commented on the weather this morning: "With this kind of weather it will be interesting for sure. I don't mind that it rains at all."

I thought he said "If it rains or not, it doesn't make any difference to me. I'll still find innocent victims to collide with in ambitious at best overtaking maneuvers and ruin their race."Originally posted by SchuOz
