Just a quickie, how many P57 ('62) cars were built?

Were some of them modified from '61 cars?

So, there says there were three pure P57 and five P578. I assume that all P57 become P578 later

If remembering well and under Doug's control, as I don't have yet his BRM vol.2, 1961 models were P48/57 chassis number 571, 572, 573. The 1962 models with V8 engines were P57 with chassis numbers 5781 up to 5785.
