I too own a a McNamara FV.Its one of the 68 Sebrings and have raced it up till 2006.Currently stripped down for a restoration and hope to have back up in the next year or 2.Great to see that there is still an interest in McNamara and I had a blast driving his car and keeping his drean alive. My car is mostly original except for the side pannels on each side. They where lost sometime ago and where replace by metal sheeting.
I have attached 2 pics for you to view.

I know it's been a long time since we last discussed McNamara but I found an article in the The Terre Haute Tribune, Thursday 20 May 1971 page 34 which gave McNamara's date of birth as 17 August 1938 in Galesburg, Illinois. When I fed those details into ancestry.com, it gave me a Francis E McNamara, the middle initial matching entry lists, with the same date of birth living in Indianapolis in 1992 and again in 1995. He then appears - same name and initial, and same data of birth - in the phone book for Menifee and Sun City in California in the 1990s and finally at 130 Pamela Dr, Fallbrook, CA in 1996. Turning to other directories, a man with the same name and living at that same Fallbrook address was President of a company called California Kool Concrete Company in 1990.
So this suggests his disappearance was short lived. He'd be 76 now so quite possibly still with us. Somewhere...
