Roger Stoddard sounds like a very unpleasant man..................I wonder if there were any real drivers who weren't missed when they lost their lives racing.

Wonder when? Aron was 37-38 in 1966, so he could have raced in quite a few when he was in his 20's.
In the new Motor Sport is an article about racing movies, with a couple more good stills of Pete & Pat, and Sarti looking mean and moody at Monza.............but they're printed across the fold.

if you look closely you will notice "Roger" inscribed in front of the cockpit....
From the shape alone I suppose this could this be a Vanwall?;)

The outdoor track season takes up most if not all of my time, esp when you have a State championship thrower in the fold.
..... but I'll be done with it sometime in July when things calm down a bit !!
