Just wondering if anyone has ever built a 2 (or 3) seat ride car in the way Arrows (the A3X), Minardi (albeit a Tyrrell badged as a Minardi... the F1x2) and McLaren did (MP4/98T)? Are they they only examples of modern-era F1 cars built to carry a passenger?

Have you got any pictures of this? Is this to go with his cars that you or I can drive if we have enough money!

Sorry, I have no pictures of the car. The car was converted for the Swedish Motorsport Challenge, a promotion drive to get one Swede into F1 and one into WRC, and it toured the circuits in Sweden in 2003 and 2004. It they bring it out again this year, I'll get some pics for you.Originally posted by dancin stu

Without wishing to be a smart-arse there have also been 2 other muti-seater Mclaren F1 cars. There was the 3 seater Mclaren "F1" and the one-and-a-half seater Mclaren MP4/10 specially designed for Mansell during early 1995 (aka the "Big-Mac")...;)

The two seater Lola was also at the Aintree Festival back in November, although I didn't see it lapping. It's the most profoundly terrifying yet beautiful piece of engineering I've ever clapped eyes on. It looks to have been screwed together very well indeed, and it still terrifies me! I love it!
