Sebastián Montoya Freydell was born on monday 11th, 2:30 pm...

Congratulations to the new father (JPM) and his beautiful wife (Connie)...!!

Perhaps I clap because parenthood has been the best experience in my life, and I tend to imagine everyone feels more or less the same.

Now, regarding driving... will JPM become less agressive because he is now a father? I remember a discussion on this subject a while ago on this BB, but I do not recall if there was substantial evidence that this occurs indeed... any thoughts??

Isn't that what happened to Hakkinen ? He caught "responsibility" after he had a kid ?

Yup, congrats. I don't understand the order of the names, though. Is "Freydell" Connie's last or maiden name?

Anyway. Congratulations to Montoya.

If it has the result of Mrs Montoya's face not been plastered all over the screen mid-race, then I'm all for it.*

Wil it make JPM even slower? Hope not, or he may as well quit.

* Not that anybody has ever been on screen as much as Errrrjaaaa, obviously.

In Latin America (and I do not know if this happens somewhere else), people usually use two last names, first the father's and then the mother's... thus Sebastián (first name) Montoya (father's first last name) Freydell (mother's first last name)...

Eventually, he will be known just as Sebastián Montoya and if he marries Lina Marulanda (zum Beispiel) and has a girl, she will be called (i.e.) Clara Montoya Marulanda... etc... etc...

It's the same in Spain, everybody signs papers with two surnames and uses both. The woman doesn't lose her surname when she marries, she keeps on using the same surnames.

But popular people will be always known by their most "rare" or "prominent" surname, for example Pedro Martínez de la Rosa is known as de la Rosa (he uses her mother's surname). Spanish PM also uses his second surname (Zapatero) as his first surname (Rodriguez) is like Smith in England, very common. Former spanish premier however was known as Aznar (his first surname) and not Lopez (another common surname).

Muchos recuerdos para el nuevo llegada

Now, being a father twice over and being at both births I have a theory about Juan's Tennis Elbow

My wife was adamant that I attend these events as I was responsible for them in the first place...
(or so she said, mind you the oldest does look a lot like a guitarist and songwriter named Jim Keller but that's another story)

Under No Certain Circumstances was I allowed to be on tour when it came to crunch time.

Fast forward to Juan and Connie's kitchen a few weeks ago.
[SeanValenmode] The cunning plan was hatched around the Montoya coffee table,
Sebatian was to be assured of his papa's attendance[/SeanValenmode]

I reckon, Connie got out the frying pan and whacked Juanito on the shoulder so he could have a medical and be furloughed for the one race...she did a good job too,...maybe TOO good. Hence JPM will sit on the sidelines for Imola.

Not so hard next time Connie

Yes, it could be worse... Mika and his wife could come back. She gave me chills. Frosty.

Also, I almost had an aneurism every time the camera cut away from the race to show her.
Who cares what she's doing!!?

Well the drivers probably have clauses in their contracts so that their Wifes get a granted amount of TV-Exposure so they can lure hotter wives to them.
