First of all, apologies for the delay in posting these results. I'm afraid we at the F1 Pools headquarters are just really, really lazy typers. Shame on us.

Anyway, round 3 was the Bahraini GP. Here are the correct answers:

In conclusion: This was one of the all-time most difficult rounds mainly because Toyota are too good, McLaren and Williams are too all over the place and BAR seem allergic to the chequered flag. Also, thanks a lot again, Ferrari!


Results:
Obviously, with that kind of percentages (see above), not many players did particularly well. Estwald, the only one to amass more than 10 points, won this round rather convincingly ahead of an1res. Third place was a tie between AussieF1 and D82. Congrats!

And now for the funny stuff. WillieF1, you little genius in disguise, your devilishly clever strategy of typing 1s, Xs and 2s in random netted you by far the best race-day score. I just knew that would happen, too bad qualifying wasn't quite as successful. Maybe you need to adjust your technique a bit but looks like you're definitely on to something there.

By the way - did you miss the PM that you were supposed to use Makarias' qualifying entry and my Race entry as one combined entry?? Pretty strange that I got 0 for qualifying, and he got 0 for the race, but we were both at or near the top for the other...

If I was only a little more inspired, I would go back and look at what I picked. But that would only serve to poison my picks for Imola...

Righty, here we are again - me and me magic wand.

And, ta-da!, here are the overall standings after Bahrain. Aaargh! *THUD* That, in case you were wondering, was the sound of a game host not only losing P1 but falling off the podium altogether. Clearly I need to work on my magic. Anyhoo, this means we have a new leader - or maybe I should say old 'cause it's dnbn on the top step again. Probably feeling right at home, what with all the time he's spent there. Estwald is right up there with him, though, ready to take over if the reigning champion falters even slightly. Those two have managed to pull a bit of a lead to third-placed D82, but nothing irreparable yet.

Note: The fourth column in the table below is titled PLOW. It's not only a fitting description of the manner in which I seem to be progressing in this game but also indicates Positions Lost Or Won since previous round. Plus (+) is good: you've overtaken some poor plodders. Minus (-) means you may have accidentally been a bit of a poor plodder yourself. Which is obviously just a temporary state of affairs as we're all just awesome, aren't we?;)
