Australia : couldn't beat a midfield car driven by DC ! He just trundled behind him. DC is not one the best drivers of the grid. Nor his car.

Malaysia : Crashed with GF !

Bahrain : Cracked under pressure and spun. ..again. While his team-mate took a podium. (thanks to KR dfn though)

Imola: Started from 4th. Kept falling behind right from the start. Made loads of mistakes and got beaten by his team-mate who started behind him. Even JV in xxxx sauber made MW look very amateur.

I don't see Webber's williams career to last very long. Yes, he has shown few very good qualifying results but in the races he is nowhere.

Any comments Mw's results so far ?

How good is webber?
A 7xWDC rate him in the same level of Raikonen and Alonso. So he is very good. Lets wait and see if those mistakes are because he is bad or he tries to find the limit of the car. I am with the latter.

Hes making mistakes but he seems fast. His qualifying is very strong.

"His qualifying is very strong."

But his racing pace is not. Slower than Sato.

Actually, MW passed DC on the track. DC only regained his spot in a pitstop. Despite that, DC is a good driver, and had a very good race.

Malaysia : Crashed with GF !

Yes. MW was hit by an out of control GF, despite leaving room (obviously not enough though).

Bahrain : Cracked under pressure and spun. ..again. While his team-mate took a podium. (thanks to KR dfn though)

Yes, He spun. Every time a driver spins, does NOT mean he has 'cracked under pressure'.

Imola: Started from 4th. Kept falling behind right from the start. Made loads of mistakes and got beaten by his team-mate who started behind him. Even JV in xxxx sauber made MW look very amateur.

In races, he has finished equally as well as his more experienced team-mate.

Webber has pushed the car much harder than his team-mate, and always looked as though he could finish very high. He was taken out of one race, when he was in line for a podium. NH was also taken out of a race, when he was in line to finish, what, 10th.

It is always easier to slow a fast driver, than to make a slower driver drive faster.

"In races, he has finished equally as well as his more experienced team-mate."

If I can remember correctly, I have seen NH standing on a podium. When have we seen Webber on a podium ? Only in dreams.

And Webber has made loads of mistakes more than NH. Yesterday we saw NH beating MW again.

First real team mate, and results have been poor in races. Mistake prone, soft, can't overtake, can't defend position... in a word, weak. Qualifying seems good however.

Part of his bad performance may be influenced by technical problems so I give him some more time to prove himself. Maybe he'll get there.

Loads more mistakes, yet has the same number of points? He must be very lucky then?

Err.... Can overtake. Did you watch the tussle with Sato yesterday. Or the passing of DC in Australia (particular passes that come to mind).

First real team-mate, and he is showing a lot more potential than him. Unfortunately, certain incidents mean he is currently only doing equally as well as his team-mate. But, as you say, is is early days yet.

I find Webber and Heidfeld to be very evenly matched, Webber has the edge in qualifying, not so sure about the races at this point.

Speed's there (as evidenced by qualifying), just not the consistency (as evidenced by race results).

He's young, he's still relatively new to the sport in terms of his expected career length. He's got time on his side.

Rome wasn't built in a day, neither is a sucessful career.
