The full meal deal S2 is out now in ALPHA form, since friday the 24th.

Amazing.

I've been racing mostly the F08 on the oval. It's basically an F3000 car.

I need to spend some time learning Westhill in the FZ50. It seems to be the most popular combo of the road coarses so far.

Loads of new cars and tracks to learn, I feel spoiled for choice.

Auto skin downloading is nice, not so many white cars anymore. Lot's of colourful cars on track now.

Tire wear is fun, the last corner on the oval in the F08 can be quite hair raising on cold tires.

Engine sounds are somewhat improved, or maybe it's just the more powerful cars sound better with this sound engine. Or, I'm just getting used to it now.

AI improvements to come I believe, they still don't respect your line.

Has anyone else here registered S2?

Big improvement over S1. Being able to run 1:06s at Blackwood after only a few laps in the FO8 is cool fun. A few things still **** me but overall with the faster cars available and quicker tracks, this release is really good. It's certainly the king of online play at the moment for road racing.

Tried it shortly last night, with the S1 license i have bought. It was pretty good, but then i thought the first release was pretty good too. Didn't try it online, but atleast the offline AI races i tried was neat. The hothatch (fwd) felt a bit too keen on understeering perhaps, but was still good fun.

Even though i liked and bought S1, i must admidt that i haven't driven it as much as i should. Mostly due to the little spare time i have for racing sims have been used at GPL and nascar mods (and lately a bit of GTR). Just hope i get to spend a bit more time with the S2 than i did with the S1. Online should be a blast :)

Online racing is way better than offline. I am never playing offline racing games again! Also, u can tweak the setup or download one so the car does not understeer so much...

FOX (the F3 car) is much fun on Fernbay Green

Any further comments?

I bought the S2 license and tried an online race. Chaotic but fun.

At least it doesn't crash like GTR but I still prefer GTR for offline play.

Got the S2 license, but mostly i've been "drifting" instead of driving "fast" laps :p A few of the cars are much more fun going sideways through the turns than doing the faster raceline

A small warning regarding S2. It is classified as an Alpha release (yet sold) and what is missing is driver AI.

They drive as you are not on the road which makes competing offline very difficult.
