Most of us are often involved at the same time in more than one topic, maybe in more than one forums. The only way I can see if anything new has been posted in the last few minutes is if I refresh the page.

Is there another (easier) way to do that and I do not know of?

If there is not, maybe the main bulletin board page (with the forums) and the main page for each forum (with the topics) should automatically refresh let's say every 3 minutes or so.

Andi, it doesn't work that way. The Atlas pages are updated instantly as new posts appear. But your computer only sees the changes when your browser refreshes the page. Your browser has to 'fetch' the new page periodically, otherwise you'll notice no new posts.

I'm so LAZY, I could barely get myself to answer this one ... (AndyPosted Image)

Rich Posted Image, thanks for the answer. It is what I expected. I know the page actually changes and the browser on our computers need to reload it. Just that it can be built into the page so the browser would do the reloading automatically.

But if that is too much trouble, I gues we could hit that mouse few more times...

Andi, if we could modify our software to give commands to your browser (and, by extension, your computer), we'd be doing a lot more than just reloading pages for you! Posted Image
