As I have just recently returned from my summer holiday in Crete and have been busy looking at news and results of the recent Le Mans 24 Hours race. Also I have been looking at photographs and I noticed that the Hawaiian Tropic girls are there again for Le Mans.

So as I have noticed that Hawaiian Tropic have been a loyal sponsor (or a PR stunt there as I haven't seen any Le Mans cars that have been sponsored by Hawaiian Tropic recently.) Also I have just watched my official 1999 Le Mans 24Hours race and noticed a Riley & Scott (#32 car) that have been sponsored by Hawaiian Tropic:

So my question is that which cars that have been sponsored by Hawaiian Tropic? Also when did it start and ended?

The earliest example I can think of is this:

The 1979 Dick Barbour Porsche 935 car that have been sponsored by Hawaiian Tropic as you can see the sponsor near the rear wing.

Some photos of the sponsored cars would be nice. :)

Thank you

I always thought they were a bit ruff. And I have studied them closely when I've been there. Too much fake tan etc
