Frequently I find that the last posting doesn't come up first time I open a thread... but I go back, open another thread, then return and it's there.
Now I strike a new problem... on the Amon stories thread in Nostalgia forum I have twice tried to post replies and come to the 'page is not available' thing... what's happening.. it hasn't happened with any other thread in this session.

Ray, in the Amon stories, all your last posts are there. What I noticed is that sometimes, the Bulletin Board gets mixed up with the number of pages, and therefore tries to send you to a new page that doesn't exist yet. So just look at the page location visible on your browser, and it will read:
.../topic number-page number#post number
Simply replace the page number by the figure below it, and you will see the correct page where your posts are visible.

And as for the first part of your problems, it has to do with your browser's cache settings. It simply displays the page as it has memorized it without checking for change. You just have to make sure that your computer checks for change everytime...

That doesn't answer what happens frequently... ie. the bit about the last posting not coming up. Not my posts, but the ones that are showing on the topic list as being the last ones. I look at the time to see if there's a new post since I last went there and then click onto it to read same - but it's not there. I have to go back, look at another thread, then try again.

This is about that particular problem that I mentioned the cache settings on your browser. You'll find all the information you need to correct that situation in the following thread...

I hope this helps. Posted Image
