All I can think of is my boyfriend's comments on the USGP:

"Man, you're lucky this didn't happen in Philly. They would have torn the stands down and set cars on fire!"

But, seriously, I'm very curious to see how this develops. I'd often daydreamed of F1 cars screaming down the Ben Franklin Parkway, with the purty art museum in the background, but doubted it would be feasible.

Maybe it still wouldn't be feasible -- and Philadelphia is no New York City, in terms of commercial appeal -- but I'd be more than happy to see a Champ Car race here, and see what doors it could open.
