The Sixth Edition of Sepang's 12 Hours Endurance Race which well known by the locals as Merdeka Millennium Endurance (MME) was held last week in conjunction of Malaysia Independence Day.

The most powerful car on the grid, Lotus Exige 300RR in which was actually failed to start the Sepang SuperGT race last June. drove by X-Japan GT driver, Genji Hashimoto, V8 Supercar driver Tony Ricciardello and seasonal MME face, Tengku Djan

Last year overall winner, the trio of Honda Malaysia Racing - Japanese Hiroki Katoh, Eddie Liew, and Farriz Fauzy (yeah, it's GP2 DAMS Fairuz lil'brother)) only managed to defend their Class A title

The one that I like most, Subaru Impreza featuring all-Indonesia drivers

Finally, Genji Hashimoto nailed it. He had failed miserably in his previous three attempts at the MME in three different GT cars – a Mazda RX7 in 2002; a BMW M3 in 2003 and in a powerful Lamborghini Murceilago last year and most interesting fact, those three GT car only lasted for six hours. “Now, they cannot call the me the six-hour man anymore,” he told reporters after the race

Well, any Digital SLR will do. I just use Canon 300D for those shots. :)

Hey, great pix! Please give us more details on this Lotus Exige 300RR, you mentioned it is the most powerful, even more than M3, 911 GT3 and this Skyline?

Yep, clearly the most powerful on the grid for this year episode and their result said so.

Their pole position was 6.7 second ahead of the second car in which was the Nissan Skyline (bought from Falken Dunlop Team). While their fastest laps during the race was 8.3 second ahead of the second car which suprisingly was the unmodified Honda V-Tec. The Lotus saw the chequered flag after completing 279 laps, a lap ahead of the Honda V-Tec.

Everybody on the paddocks knew that the car will win as soon as they send their registration form. ;)
