As it stands, however, Kimi/JPM are looking good for 2006 assuming that the MB V8 isn't a bomb and McLaren don't sacrifice their hard won form.

Really good for F1 that he won the WDC before Michael retired. I mean, if Micahel had won, say, 7 championships and then retired, *whoever* won the first season after would always get "He only won cos Micahel retired" endlessly repeated.
So well done Fernando for beating the Schu-god.
(now just another 6 WDC's to go !)

quite a nice moment for me since the first start-to-end F1 race i watched was malaysia03.
been a big fan of the small boy since. Brilliant job all year round!
