I believe strongly the best man won this years title, He is the youngest champ, he has driven like a veteran this year with great speed and a matching head to stay out of trouble.
Kimi done well too but he was beaten fair and square by the Fernado/Renault compination

Totally congratulating FA. A well deserved title. Speed isn´t all it takes - as witnessed once again by McL boys. Renault have to find a way to keep both drivers concentrated as long as they want the constructors title as well.
At least the remaining two races are in decent venues. Bring on -06!

Yes, a thoroughly deserving WDC for FA. The fight with KR has been tough and fascinating but it's been won fair and square. And I daresay this is not going to be the only WDC he's going to win. I think though that KR and JPM will have their say too in the coming years.

Really good for F1 that he won the WDC before Michael retired. I mean, if Micahel had won, say, 7 championships and then retired, *whoever* won the first season after would always get "He only won cos Micahel retired" endlessly repeated.

So well done Fernando for beating the Schu-god.

Congradulations to Spains first ever WDC. A fine season put together by Renault and excellent driving all year by Alonso. Renault had a great combination of speed and reliabilty. McLaren had enough but to late to take the title.

And now we start the countdown to 2006.
