My girlfriend writes some very important presentation and she collects quotes on "ambition" from various sorts of famous people. I was given a task to find one from F1 heros. Please help me to maintain my "knows-everything" image in my domectic relations

"To do something well is so worth while that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy. Life is measured in achievement not in years alone."---Bruce McLaren

And my fave, though more about personal boundaries than ambition in its literal sense:

"At some stage of your development you may have to overstep your known capabilities. I strongly urge you to pick that spot carefully."---Jim Clark, 1966

The wonderful thing about being a Grand Prix driv er is that you are presented 16 times in a season with a challenge thatyou can focus on, and it's something that's never more than a fortnight away. "getting your bum into a car and driving a car are two v ery different things. Before you can driver a car, you have to have one. To have one requires ducking and diving, it takes wheeling and dealing and conniving. And that part of motor rcing is tghe bigger part. Its like the bottom six-sevents of an iceberg - nobody who hasn't hit one know's what it's like - Alan Jones

My goal is 50 victories
(Prost, when he had about 33 victories, and 50 meant almost the double of Jachie Stewart's previous record).
I can tell you this sounded ambitious by then.
He achieved it.
