j would like to know if someone could help me, to find the results of RAC rally 1956 and 1958.
All information is very interesting for me ( results - retired - ecc. )

Did they really have three people in an Aston Martin? Autosport said that Sims was accompanied by J Ambrose, but I don't know whether this was Tony of that ilk.Originally posted by jarama

as long as I know there were three aboard, not during the classification tests, but on the main route.
About Ambrose, certainly was the same Tony, later famous codriver of Seigle-Morris, Aaltonen, Mäkinen, Lampinen & cia.

You're probably right. Autosport only mentioned Ambrose, but had a picture captioned "Sims and his Crew" which had three people. However, it raises two questions: how did they all fit into the Aston, and what did they all do?Originally posted by jarama
