Will Ferrell as the protagonist. Sascha Baron Cohen as the antagonist. You THINK it might be funny?;)Originally posted by MrSlow
Hehe, working title is "High, Wide, and Handsome" and status is "post production". I think it might be a funny movie![]()

Probably not; they would have gone down (a very small distance) to TV Professional Wrestling by now if they did...

Joking... Seriously it does look very good - I only hope they've made enough of Sacha Cohen in it.

It looks like a very good moviegoing year for Nascar (and general racing) fans with this film and also Disney/Pixar's animated "Cars" featuring the voice of Paul Newman.

Soo true a lot of times. I thought Wedding Crashers would be like that, but was surprised it was better than the trailer made it out to be.

Twas the case with "the Weatherman". Hopefully this flick has more legs than that one.
I really hope that NASCAR fans have a sense of humor and do not picket and destroy Will Ferrell and Ali G flims.

Brick Tamland was an awesome character though!

Will Ferrell was in a NASCAR commercial that aired during the Daytona 500 last Sunday, for something called NASCAR Day 2006. He was talking about how it was a national holiday

Anyway, there's already NASCAR tie-ins to Will and the movie.

Have you seen Ferrell doing George W on his ranch? I almost died I laughed so hard. His movies have been spotty though. He's better in low dosages.
