Can anyone please help with a close up detail photo of a Ferrari 312 F1 1967 engine.
I would like to super detail the engine on a 1/43rd scale kit and cant find a clear, close up shot.
Thanks.

Another forum member submitted this - I think his father took it - but I'm afraid I don't remember who it was. It was taken at Watkins Glen, 1967 I believe...

I hope it helps a bit!

(photo Franco Lini, I believe)
Bandini's car at Monaco - I think the rear brake cooling scoops were only used there.
(I've quite a few recent photos from Goodwood etc - how much detail do you want, Rae? PM me if you like)

(edit: Twinny's pic shows the 48-valve engine used from Monza on, mine shows the 36-valve)

Thank you for the replies, the photos help a lot.
Paul if you have a close up engine shot from Goodwood that would be superb.
My email address is rae@mmcars.co.uk if it is better to send off the board, any would be gratefully received.

Bear in mind that the '67 Fezza was equipped with two types of power unit. Up to the Italian GP, the red cars had 36V engines, rated ~390BHP. From Monza and into the '68 season they were powered by 48V units, rated ~410BHP. Both types of engines differed seriously in appereance. 48-valver had bigger heads (obviously), intake trumpets located outside of spark plugs and differet exhaust shape that 36-valver. You can see the first one on Watkins Glen photo and the latter on Monaco shots. Which car do You intend to build? I can post some more photos found on the net.
