Haven't noticed any with their site before then, either.

If the rest of us are not having any problems accessing the site, then it would be logical to assume that it's more likely that there is something wrong with the way your confuser is set up.Originally posted by adeikel
Maybe it has something to do with how IT has our system setup. I've never had the problem with any other site.
For example, what browser are you using ??? I'm on IE 6.0.2600
I occasionally have to hit refresh when attempting to access the TV schedule page, but only if it opens up as a blank grey page...

But if I just type speedtv.com into my address bar, it takes me directly to

If you think the site is bad don't tune into the TV station.... Unless your a die-hard NASCAR fans who enjoys redundant programming 24/7.

I hadn't thought about that. I live in the States and therefore watch the races on Speed. Do they broadcast the F1 races in HD elsewhere? Europe? Far East?
If Speed offered HD, that might be the last push I need to go buy a new TV.

I'm with you. F1 in HD would convince me to finally put down the bucks to get the 55" flat panel and mount on the wall.

I noticed that the Speed schedule says that Spain, Imola, Monaco, Silverstone are being presented on network television. Can't find which network...? Surprised the USGP is not... er... nevermind.

If it was live they wouldn't be able to show the 135 Nascar program commercials.

You can use one or the other, but not both at the same time.
Same thing happened last year, and here in Canada I'm fortunate enough to have the regular World Feed on TSN, so I will watch TSN, along with Fi timing, for one hour, and then get Speed's 'repeat' of the last 1/2 hour, afterwards, and know what to watch for.

Last season when watching Speed, I ditched live timing for qualy, and used it during the practice sessions & race. Yesterday I had both going, and it was a worthless combination.. like chocolate & cheese.

With the new qualifying format live timing is much more important than last year. I decided to ditch the tv this year.Originally posted by 330R

Varsha missed the point on a few of the technical discussions - Mac air intake wings, "ram air" and variable geometry intake runners, gear change times. But he's still the smooth play-by-play guy, very professional and current with the news.
Good race, good show.

I'm fortunate to have three TV networks here, all showing the same live video of the race, but with different 'voice-overs', one of them in French.
Several times during the race, when Allen / Brundle went to commercial break, so had Speed (Varsha, Hobbs, and Matchett), so I switched to the French channel, and could at least watch the video of the race, and understand the radio transmissions.
But what really got me was that very near the end of the race, all three channels decided to go to a commercial break, at the same time .
But on the French channel, the commercial was in a separate window to the right of a smaller image of the race video, and I got to see Ide pull off !!!
I think it's time for me to learn a new language !!!
And for Bernie, Speed, et all, to learn some 'new tricks'

conversing to Varsha via pm at their forum last week... BV insinuated that F1 Decade was not picked up by speed this due to them paying xtra $$ to Bernie for a live mike for Peter Windsor on raceday + increased GP2 coverage. Apparently speed cannot afford to spend but x amount of dollars on F1 while covering nascar + 'reality' shows 24/7 have an unlimited budget.
