Can anyone tell me whether the organisation l'AGACI, Organisation Francaise(sorry cannot do the cidilla) des Coureurs en Automobile, still exists? I have an old address in Paris, but obviously before e mail etc. I am trying to find details of a race meeting in 1963.
Any help is welcomed

François.

Francois, many thanks for the reply. I give below a copy of the details from the earlier race regs.
I am trying to find a copy of the race entry for September 22 1963 at Linas-Montlhery or details of race results.

All I have found is that it was "une association sportive a l'Ile de France". There seems/seemed to be a large number of events related to them, or under their organisation over quite a number of years.

Not only Monthlery events : all "ile de france" country."Association Générale Automobile des Coureurs Indépendants".
They started the "post war" area in France with the first race in "bois de boulogne "in 1945.
Also great driving school, in Monthlery, on various and modified pre-war cars, and AGACI was Pescarolo team for the lotus 7 "coupe des provinces" during the 60's.Even some rallyes organisation in those times.
But it's not great help for you.Perhaps ASAVE (historic race car association from Paris) could help you.
In France, we have also "copains d'avant" website ("old fellows", most of them from school).
2 guys said they are from AGACI-course automobile.Link:

But they will probably ask you to register before giving teir e-mail adress.
Will tell you if I have more idea.
