hello, this is my first posting for the site. does anyone know the name of the driver who was killed racing a white lotus elan 26r in the late 1960's? were there any write ups about the event in any motoring mags? racing at the same time but maybe not that event were Gerry Marshall and Robert Speak who lived in the north west. many thanks for your time.

This sad accident shocked all of us who knew the Waterhouse brothers especially as Mike had earlier survived an enormous shunt at Knickerbrook Brook when he had end-over-ended his ex Dick Jacobs Twin Cam 1 MTW.

thankyou both for that.
i am documenting some racing history for 1968 at oulton park for a book.

i am looking at racing results of lotus cars. robert speak remembered alot of memories and loaned me some photos of his before his death last year.

if anyone has any other items or photos to document the year (lotus based) i am happy to make a donation to a charity of your choice. i will of course return all items and cover costs.
many thanks
