HI everyone
I'm looking for radiator core data!
I'm preparing my end of degree project that consistes in designing aerodynamicly a race car using CATIA and testing it using Star CD and Fluent.
Since radiators represent influence the aerodynamics...I'll have to incluid them in my design!
So what I'm looking for is technical data from radiator cores, so that I can design my own radiator to the car specifications. Besides tech data drawings showing the dimensions of the core are apreciated.
Any tech data in pdf files or other office aplications can be sent to:

Try contacting Marston who supply heat exchangers to some of the F1 teams:

The exact radiator depth is not that important (reckon on about 50mm) but the information you will need is the pressure drop versus velocity (at radiator face) curve which should approximately cover the range 5-8 m/s. I don't think you will get much information about the installation angle, height and width because this is probably witheld info. You could make a good enough guess from looking at pictures though.

Thanks for the replies....just got a positive reply to an e-mail...a core manufacturer is willing to give me the data I need...just sent them an e-mail letting them know what the project consistes of! And the cooling requirements I need.
So basicly we're starting from there.
I'll keep you posted on how the project goes...a website will probably be created!
