A recent post on Facebook a couple of days ago by his son reported that Verdun Edwards died recently. A comprehensive story of his life and activities accompanied it. I feel that it is seemly to record his passing here.
I always enjoyed this thread which Melanie generously started all that time ago, enabling us to discover his story and those period photographs.
My condolences to the family.

A recent post on Facebook a couple of days ago by his son reported that Verdun Edwards died recently.
I do not understand.
Verdun Edwards (1916 - 1994) passed away nearly 30 years ago.

More precisely, he died on 28th October 1994.
