In June I went off to Slough to track down the various former racing premises there, and FAV Slough was my first target. They were in 714-5 Banbury Rd, Slough Trading Estate, one of a row of cookie-cutter industrial units on the north side of the road.

The buildings still stand, barely changed except for a lot of prettification involving shrubs and lawns, and of course occupants.

If you peep down the lane, you can see some of the industrial structure behind the street-front offices.

The bushes and rich green lawn weren't there in the 60s, and if you like to compare then and now, try this link. It should take you to a thumbnail gallery of Ford GT40 pictures, including two with glimpses of the building. Later, of course, John Wyer operated out of the same premises.
