I met him a few times, firstly through Will Hoy who was a great friend and rival of Creighton's in clubmans and later at CART races where he managed a few drivers. Will and Creighton teamed up together in Thundersports with the F1 Hart-turbo powered Tiga in the mid 80s.
He was a charming man and a great racer. Best remembered for his involvement with Ron Dennis & McLaren and the ICI F2 team, he will be sorely missed. RIP Creighton.

Indeed sad news. In addition to his higher-profile racing activities with "The Ronald", he was also very much involved in hillclimbing through various Mallock associated people. I am trying to recall if he actually shared a car with Richard or Ray Mallock on the hills for a few seasons, but certainly the Camborough Pigs logo was in evidence! His brother Richard was, of course, more prominent in hillclimbing and held the Shelsley record for almost 9 years.Originally posted by Andrew Kitson
Sadly Creighton Brown has succumbed to cancer. He died yesterday.
There is a nice piece about his association with Bucklers here:

Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Twinny, could you possibly amend the title to include Creighton's name?
