I really didn't want to start another new thread, believe me, but after years of desperately searching for pictures of JJ Lehto testing Ligier without having a trace of any, there was no other option. I have already tried to catch attention by posting a half a year ago to the end of the old thread "JJ Lehto mystery", but unluckily I've got no answers. It is widely known JJ tested Ligier in 1994 mid season, while he was sacked from Benetton. Now it seems that we haven't been able to save this precious piece of Finnish motorsport history

I really would appeal to you for any help, hints, etc..

If anybody has one it has to be our friend from Monza with the Autosprint collection. Autosprint always had pictures of strange tests.

Who might be the person, you are talking about? How could I contact him/her?

I thought that the pic below was taken during the test...

But I've just seen this pic on twitter which shows JJ in a car with no logo on the sidepods.

Now I'm not sure whether this first pic is from the test or just a random shot....?

The sidepod in the background of the first picture is bare. So the second picture is taken with that pod on the car.

Could be right ther - and if I squint the side pods in the back of pic 2 appear to have the LiGiER logo on them?

I'd agree with that; although, looking at the white lines on the road, I'm not wholly convinced that these two are taken at the same place. What do you think?

The lines don't look awfully consistent.

Nor terribly sure that it looks all that much like Monza

As an aside, Frank Dernie in the red shirt, I think?
