I'll be in Lisbon with the Brazilian GP and I have no idea where to watch F1!

Is there some bar where I can watch it or will I be able to see it on a public channel in the hotel?

portuguese tv rtp 1 (open channel) transmits the race live. (i´m not sure about qualifying)

most hotels have cable and you can have the excelency of rtl (qualif and race as usual)

at bars it is a bit dificult: f1 isn´t popular here really.

Hey lukywill;
What's the name of that open air harborside area where there are many bars and resturants next to boats?
That might be nice for Babbel?

you'r lucky you came this year. Next year you would have trouble seeing F1. Only pay per view.

You can see it in RTP1 free or RTP N, (national tv's) and RTL if you get cable.

In public just depends if some bar shows F1 . You´ll be screwed if there is any national soccer game at that time.

Benfica will start playing mid-race, also a Sporting vs Porto later that day, so it will be pretty much impossible to watch the race in a bar. Even i will have to change channel, nothing gets between me and my Benfica :love:

yeah yeah... as long as Fernando Santos is the coatch we will never win anything...

If the big 3 are playing at the time of the gp... oh well F1 does not exists in Portugal even if Monteiro is challeging Ferrari for the win.
