I am putting together a history of Bernie Rodger, his Peerless and Warwick days in particular. My father was the sales manager at Peerless. He and Bernie were the two works drivers, Ron (Roland) Ham also raced a Warwick GT350 at a later date. Peter Jopp and Percy Crabb raced at Le Mans in 1958 with great results. 2008 is the 50th anniversary of that success and I want to make sure the Peerless and Warwick story is properly told and celebrated. I have read Doug Nye's fabulous Cooper book so I have that bit of history. I am also in touch with his son and his partner up until his untimely death. And of course I have my own 11 years of memories.
I would be really very pleased to receive any stories and reminiscences, pictures would of course be fantastic, in fact anything that will make sure that the 50 years of Peerless will be properly remembered.
Thank you

I have a friend who vintage races in the US with a Peerless GT chassis with a sports racing body by Ambro. He's had it at Laguna Seca for the Historics, many times.

They drove two cars down, one was a reserve which did not actually race. On the way back the reserve car drove under a railway bridge and wrote itself off, no one was hurt.
