I'm seeking any information I can on a British race driver, "T. Craig." I believe he was racing Jaguars in the 1950s. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Any info on T Craig, the 1950s Jaguar driver?

Appears that I mistook the initial for Craig's first name as a "T" when it is probably a "J". Can anyone help me with information on John Craig, who drove Jags in the 1950's?

Any idea where he raced them?
Saloons (sedans) or sports cars? C-types or XK120s?
Ian Stewart might be your man if you're talking about UK racing...

John Craig was a frequent and successful competitor in British club racing at Goodwood, Silverstone etc. If you go to http://www.wsrp.wz.cz and click on "British National Races" you will find that John Craig appears quite frequently in the late 1940s in a Jaguar SS100 reg. EBP 613. He then raced XK120 Reg. MPG 9 in the early 50s (source of regstration numbers "A Record of Motor Racing at Goodwood) Unfortunatley the pages on this site seem difficult to open but there is lots of information there if you can!

Thank you for telling me about the WSRP site. It has a lot of terrific racing information that is hard to obtain.

Michael
The wspr site moved to a new hoster this weekend. Performance seems now very good. Address is wsrp.ic.cz but there is a link on the old site.
