Future Daytona Prototype winner and current Grand-Am driver Colin Braun was among them.Originally posted by Twin Window
There was a team of lads - three or four, I think - about that age in the '05 race, paired with a bloke in his forties.

John Paul jr. was certainly younger when he won in 1982.Originally posted by Vicuna
Would Chris Amon be the youngest winner?

Possibly he was the youngest at an international level, but not at Daytona. What became the 24 Hours started off as a couple of 3-hour races in 1962. Rodríguez did run them, but he was 19 at the time.Originally posted by ray b

Indeed he was. I've finally found the pics I took at the event, which included these;Originally posted by FLB

The press blurb said that this was the youngest driver lineup in the history of the event; l-r Colin Braun, Adrian Carrio and Brad Coleman were all aged 16 at the time (Ross Bentley is squatting).
