Excellent.

I am starting to miss the noises that the twunt himself, James Allen, emits from his mouth.

My thought too. I want a(nother) good season; and I think the optimism occurs cos, I think it's cos it's fresh. Can alonso repeat the same success with a new team. how will Ferrari fare without schumacher? Who will be the top 3 teams? etc.

If anybody can record Ross Brawn interview on ITV x-mas 2006 review or the whole one and place it on Rapidshare or something I would highly appreciate that.
I don`t have that ITV in my country. :|

the first half hour was a renault/ferrari review - not a season review

I thought it was a bit light to be honest - Renault/Ferrari for the first half hour, then the 'front runners' followed by ten minutes on Honda and Button's season. Finished up with a review of Schuey's F1 career (which was actually better than the ITV Schumacher special back in October).

I was really disappointed with the amount of screen time given to the teams at the other end of the grid - I'd have especially liked to have seen more of Williams (given the season they had) and of the 'new' teams - Torro Rosso, Super Aguri and Midland/Spyker. Surely a couple of interviews with drivers/management from these teams would have been of benefit? It's not just the guys at the front that raced all season and I bet some of the smaller outfits have interesting information to share...

You know it's a long off-season when people who hate Allen can't wait to hear his voice.

Is this repeated on any of itv's channels? If not did anyone manage to catch his on DVD-R, video tape or Sky+?

I missed it and I'd like to have seen it. I'll pay (Paypal?) for postage and the media and a little bit for effort/thanks :D if you post me it? :)

Thanks!

The show is uploaded to BitTorrent network. I'm downloading right now. Hope no copyrights will be violated if I share the link with people who couldn't watch it (by living in other countries, like me) and still want to do it.

Damnation!!! missed the show cos of an unplanned party last night resulting in a major delay in my neuroligical processing this morning ;)

bit torrent doesn't seem to work for me. I need a free view repeat, or will they do this anyway for the start of the season?

Egh - Had to listen to James Allen's 'noise' at JB winning in Hungary. I feel dirty.

 I squirmed in my seat at that bit too - as they showed Jenson coming round the last corner I was just thinking 'oh no, don't play that again. Fade it or something, please.' No - instead they stay with the clip specifically to let James finish himself off.

I was disappointed with it, most of the clips had been shown during the season in post or pre race parts, so if you watched the full season of F1 there wasn't much to stop you yawning.

Agreed. The Brawn interview was the most interesting part, he admits they were hopeless in Hungary but stops short of admitting that the Monaco parking stunt was done on purpose. Symonds also admits that the mass dampner ban hit them really hard - which wasn't what he said at the time of the ban.

Of course Pat is not going to admit it then.

True, but Flavio kind of gave the game away there really, by being his usual cordial self!
