read about this in a rich boys toys liftout in the paper. i found it mentioned in passing on the forum but apologies if it's a double post - i haven't heard of it before.

bloody hell, this is what i'd do if i had the kind of money this dutch bloke (klaas zwart) obviously has. he's built a racing circuit in spain that you can race cars around, including his own ascaris and a benetton, circa 1995 by the look. on top of that he's built a luxury hotel next to the circuit - it's taking the corporate drive day concept to a ridiculously extravagant extreme. it reminds me a bit of the dubai f1 theme park idea - this guy is as bonkers as the oil sheiks! not a bad thing at all though...i'd love to go

There was an article on this in the dead-tree version of Autosport last year.

If I recall correctly one of the corners was renamed to Hill, after Damon beached a Ferrari in the the sandtrap there

I remember seeing this circuit featured on the British motoring TV programme Fifth Gear with Tiff Needell driving an Ascari about 18 months or more ago.

A mate of mine used to work for him at Ascari, he runs a couple of Benettons in the EuroBOSS championship, and I think he also has something to do with the running of the series, promoter possibly.
