Sorry folks, I know it has been asked before, but I'm totally confused as to where is best to view the action at Silverstone. Seems to me that it is between Luffield, Copse, Stowe and Club. All seem to have something going for them but what we are after is being not too far from the track, getting a relatively long look at the cars and seeing a bit of overtaking - too much to ask of one place?????? Also any suggestions for good campsites would be greatly appreciated, we want to be as close to the track as possible - somewhere with a good atmosphere. Any suggestions greatly appreciated :)

Hey there!!

Our camp guide is quite popular on our website if you'd like some info. We camp inline with the start of the grid pretty much

Go to our silverstine section ;)

Do not fear! We have a good idea for you and its the same sort of place i'll be sitting!

The STOWE grandstands at the end of the hanger straight allows you to see the cars go along the entire hanger straight, sweeping through stowe right infront fo you, then you see them dip down into club and fire all the way down the next straight into the abbey chicane

you can see each car for about 30 seconds which is a mega amount of time being trackside at a grand prix we assure you!

click on general tickets and look at the map to see the stowe grandstands:

hope this helped, contact us for any more info

I second your suggestion! Stowe is an excellent vantage point. Long unobstructed view of the cars and a big screen.
