Who do you think? The Royal family, the stars of Friends..?.... I guess you might be able to guess really, if you think about it.

You could always emigrate to South Africa. We get practice, qualifying and race live and uninterrupted. :)

The most annoying thing about F1 is the ignorant fans that think that their little understanding of aerodynamics and racecars is sufficient to oversee all problems and challenges arising from the suggestions they make......

Or perhaps it's the truly ignorant who fail to see that what was pointed out was not a fan's ideas but the FIA's, the F1 Technical Group's - as issued in the 2008 draft F1 regulations. All but, essentially, the split rear wing which most 'ignorant' fans were able to see was a non-starter, seem pretty well thought out. How 'ignorant' is it to understand that the most aero sensitive areas of the cars are the front wing end-plates and the bargeboards, and that to remove/simplify those would necessarily reduce aero sensitivity - combined with the knowledge that the bargeboards help generate around 10-12% of overall downforce one can see how such a large amount of downforce being suddenly lost to turbulence might make the idea of following another car quite....... difficult. Perhaps you would care to inform the 'ignorant' as to quite where they are going wrong in their thinking?

Then you are the lucky one - just stop visiting forums and you will be happy ;)

Don't get me wrong, I also find people that does not think exactly like me or find my ideas the best ever, extremely annoying. I don't understand why those kind of people need to exist.

As I already pointed out in the other thread you started on this issue, it's not the changes themselves that are the problem, but the extend to wich they can be monitored/managed and how it can be prevented from being abused. as also pointed out by BMW-Sauber's chief aerodynamicist Willem Toet in this article.

Don't get me wrong, but other than you I don't find people that don't think exactly like me annoying at all. I never said that. What I find annoying are people that form an opinion based on incomplete knowledge (which in itself is not a problem, nobody knows all) and than acuse others of being stupid for not coming to the same conclusion as them. (pardon my english, i'm not an native speaker).

And that (what William Toet said) is just a heap of crap in this context. As I asked before. Are they (the F1 technical working group) so absolutely stupid they can't come up with something in less than three years? There are things that can be done, and they are within the framework of the 2008 technical regs. The extent to which they can be monitored/managed? Very simply, like any other regulation - it's measurable, visible stuff this. You let them off the hook too easily. They aren't doing anything because they can't be bothered - the sport is being run from boardrooms by people who don't have a clue about what motor racing is except that it gets a lot of viewers (allegedly).

I always figured the TWG comprised representatives of the teams as well.
