Appearing on a TV chat show this evening, David Coulthard said he used Michael Schumacher's helmet at the 1996 Monaco GP.

I've never heard this before, and it seems somewhat unlikely. Anybody else heard or got any info/pics on this? I'm strangely, perhaps even worryingly, curious.

I'm just going by memory here, but I recall that this was a wet race and DC's helmet was fogging up badly. Something about Schumacher's helmet design stopped the fogging, so he lent a spare to DC.

Al Murray is doing a faaaaaaantastic job on this show...his quick retorts and protracted rants are really spot on.

DC is a funny bloke too...but he seemed a bit uncomfortable on the show?
