I don't know if I'm the first TNFer to come across this site, but you might like to have a surf around the Internet Movie Car Database (www.imcdb.org).
Basically it is a database compiled by some good folk, with way too much free time on their hands, of thousands of movie and TV screen captures of cars (and some bikes), all helpfully categorised by make. Just click on the make you want.
Obviously most of them are road cars, but for starters have a look at Cooper, Lola, Lotus and Bizzarrini, to name but 4 of the 1,372 makes on the list!.
There are a few real jems in there. Happy surfing.

Thanks, Gav
Browsing the Lotuses I found no sign of the Lotus Mk Ten which appeared in 'Checkpoint' but it was there on the film's page under 'unidentified ' plus another 64 odd pages of the latter - for those with time on their hands...

Nothing on there about the 1969 film 'Winning', based on Indy Cars of the time.

The same goes for the McKee Mk. X which Frank Capua (Paul Newman) drove in the Redburn 200 which opened "Winning".Originally posted by ChiliFan
