Maybe it's just me, but the white line bothered me during on-board shots. I was fixated on that damn white line. If the do plan on keeping it, I wish they would put it on the inner or outer lining - so it's not so "in your face". And perhaps change the color to a dull yellow.

Here's my crappy attempt through MSpaint.

I didn't really think about it, so it didn't disturb me.
From the outside it actually looked quite nice in a strange way.

And to add, it showed excessive rear tyre wear very well. So I guess it will be removed soon... :-(

Yes, I believe Jack White has sold out! No doubt.

Wait a second...is this a thread about the White Stripes?

We need a BIG flashing strobe light on top of the car to be switched on when the soft tires are being used. Really, really big and it can also be used to help slow the cars down. Maybe even the size of a 22" flat panel display, then it could be used to show advertising when the hard compound is being used.
Just a random thought.

Hehehe good one dgsg

Well, I found it a little bit odd because from the onboard shots it looked to me as though that part of the tyre wasn't moving  But I guess i'll get used to it.

I wish they could find a solution on the sides of the tyres, but anyway.

It was good though to show how much the tyres (particularly the rears) wear out on individual cars.

Hmm not really distracting, I did find the way it wore off the back tyre interesting though.

It doesnt disturb me. Some civil tire manufacturers do paintings like that as well:

There is no reason for anyone to get distracted.

Bridgestone have come up with decent solution, even if they put the marking someplace else or of different colors some people would still not like it. Can't please everyone.

Yall get used to it.

Visually, I don't like it. But when it comes to getting agreement in F1, everything ends up as a compromise.

Didn't really take much notice of it to be honest.

Yes, we can get used to it, but it doesn't go with F1, really. Those damn grooved tires already look like some genetic mutation (even if we're used to them by now) not proper tires, and that white stripe makes them look too "golly gee" for me.
