Does anyone have any photos of any of Martin Thomas's Chevrolet Camaro Group 2 cars from the early 70's.
I am also looking to see if there is any info on the engines use by him ,i used to be a team member for one season but as i was young i did not take any notice which engine tuner he used.
The only thing i know for sure is it had Holman Moody transmission.
He used a Camaro in club racing but not sure if it was the Ovaltine car or one of his other ones.
I know for sure he used Stuart? Mathwells engine in his G1 Z28, but that is another story.

Is that the one that had that massive dice with Gerry Marshall at Crystal Palace?
With Murray Walker shouting into the microphone...
The Beeb showed that race ten years after Crystal Palace was closed, I've seen a video of it.

Thanks to the good offices of one Gordon Mitchell I don't need that...
He sent me the video back in the early eighties.

Just as an add on the Ovaltine Z28 then became the Flame Out car which was Red & White.
And to contradict a popular misconception that the Ovaltine car in the 100 Great Sporting Moments programme was the ex Wiggins Teape of Brian 'Yogi Muir is untrue, they were both different cars as both raced together in numerous British Saloon Car races.
The Wiggins Teape car an ex Penske went on to Doug Emms for use in 74.

Martin lives in Gamlingay Cambs and has an office in the building directly opposite Biggleswade train station entrance. I am sure he will tell you what you want to know if you go find him.
