Any news perhaps on the racing pedigree of Jean-Claude Schoepp?? Very unknown to me, so could he really got his hands on an Alpine in 1965? I noticed he first tried out a Lotus in 2 races and then switched to an Alpine, also only in two races.

Is a FF Alpine still an Alpine?

I mean the Elf F2 cars of the early 70s were actually Alpine chassis with Ford or BMW engines but they weren't called Alpine because of the links with Renault. So what about this car?

Or do I have too much free time on my hands? :stoned:

I think that Clacher's car in FF2000 was not an "FF" but a works F3 car from the early seventies that had passed through several private owners before it ended up in northern England

Gérard,

Try an answer on this Alpine single seaters topic. We work hard on the chassis number...
