Just finished reading this superb book that is a compilation of Ferrari related stories written by TNFer Graham Gauld.Stories about Modena in the 50s,Enzo,Baraks Cooper Ferrari, etc etc. This is well worth the £20.Its published by Havelock Publishing.

I can endorse that. Excellent reading.
My daughter bought the book for me.
It is easy to read and has some delightful tales. Graham has a way of 'weaving' a good story.
Life was so much simpler then.

I assume you are talking about "Racing Memories of Modena"? If so, I have not only read it; but I have given 2 copies as gifts.

No David. Its a NEW title only just published. Its rather along the same lines but covers all aspects of Ferrari related stories not just from Modena.

I've just begun reading and found it quite enjoyable so far (especially the chapter about my unlikely hero, Henry N. Manney III), but the photo reproduction is disappointing in a book of this price. At least one chapter (the one about the abandoned race cars) mentions pictures that do not appear, so apparently not all of the pictures that originally accompanied the articles made it into the book. Surprising, since there are some blank pages.

Thank you for the comments about the book. Jack the Lad is quite right that some of the pictures did not come up as well as they should have but I did not receive final printed page proofs otherwise I would have noticed the problem. Reference the scrap yard picture you are quite right in that the photo published was the scrap yard in 1958 with Musso's single seater Monzanapolis car and a few Testa Rossas. I have attached the photo that the text of the book refers to and was taken in 1957 about a week after the Italian Grand Prix when the Lancia-Ferraris became redundant.
