The two iSport drivers hit each other at the start but one of the Racing Engineering drivers has had a huge crash - looks like Ernesto Viso.

Those marshalls were so lucky not to have been hit by that car!!!

And Glock and Zuber are both fools, they both went into eachother.

HOLY ****!!
edit: two cars (glock and his team-mate eliminate) crash even before the turn one, then one of the red bulls rolls over the barrier, in an extremely scary looking crash. during the safety car period one of the cars hit a mechanic in the pits.
****ing unbelievable.
red flag.
i'm uploading the start on youtube, it will take around 10minutes.
edit: video showing both of the accidents.

i'm really worried about the guy who rolled on the barrier, i recall a similar fatal accident in F3, almost on the same part of the circuit.

Er, yes. I guess it must be amusing if you enjoy seeing a driver potentialy lose his life or cause himself serious injury.

It's unclear whether he hit the wall with his head or not.

just watched the replay in slo-mo, his helmet either hit or was no more than a few inches from hitting the barrier.

It really would be a malacious interpretation... to rather assume one of the worst than give the benefit of doubt incase. BTW the accident wasn't shown or I haven't seen before the comment.

From Premiere, Viso is extracted that he has some arm injuries but nothing serious, hopefully its OK. Racing Engineering Teamchief is looking positive.

Think they are a bit unclear how to go one with the race.
Isport is working on their cars, wondering if they really allow to restart?

Crash.net has a link to a story about the accident, but does not work. Still hope this is okay. Talking to Flav, does not mean anything. When Dale Earnhardt died, the announcers were still cheering on the racers.

from the replay it looked to me that the helmet did hit the wall on first impact.
he may just have had his head pushed down into the cockpit though. (campos i believe hit the wall in a 90 degree angle down the corner)

Race about to restart now, under safety car, and will last another 38 laps.

At Cleveland last year, Sebastien Bourdais had his bell rung by Paul Tracy's car(kind of like Wurz/ Coulthard) resulting in a comcussion.
Just hope he is okay and can race again.
