What a moronic comment. On what do you base it? Or are you just anothe Ferrari fanboi wanting to put up an anti-McLaren post so you can tell all your tifosi friends "Yeah, I got McLaren good. I called into question the 1998 and 1999 championship. I am sure the FIA will investigate those now. I got all internet-thuggish on McLaren."

Perhaps we need to put an asterisk by this post for stupid post of the week award.

By the same token, we can put asterisks on some other championships. Let's try 1994 for illegal launch control. Let's try 2000 for illegal traction control. How about 2002 for blatant team orders.

People who live in glass houses, especially when that glass is tinted red, should be very careful about throwing stones.

Eh, I'm a McLaren fan...

Since there appears to be a witch hunt against McLaren, I'm surprised this hasn't come up yet...

Actually I think he is an Alonso fan and somehow wants to establish how Häkkinen was no better.

The thing is IF Alonso wins the WDC, he will be better than Mika coz Alonso would be a 3xWDC  .... Not so sure Alonso will win it though coz what are the chances that Hamilton leads for most of the championship but then loses the title? This never happens... The driver that leads for most of the championship always wins it. So this means Kimi's chances don't look good either, he only lead the WDC for like 2 weeks or something :o

I don't care if either Hamilton or Alonso win the WDC. As long as a McLaren driver wins the WDC it will be OK.

Chris Amon was a far, far better driver than Giancarlo Baghetti, yet he never even won a race. Stirling Moss was a far better driver than James Hunt, but he never won the title.

And all of thsoe men were certainly a damn sight more honest than Fernando Alonso despite all his talent.

You're new to motor-racing right?

You can't blame Alonso for being a cheater, he learned it from Flavio. I blame all of Alonso's cheating on Flavio... That mobster Flavio has not been a good role model for young Alonso.....

But most of the WDC went to the driver won the first race. Go Kimi!

Young Schumacher was also CORRUPTED by mobster Flavio.

Alonso = Schumacher

BOTH had the same despicable role model in their younger years...

It's all Flavio's fault...

Indeed we do. I think this is the most insightful thread on here. We should also have concerns about '88 and '89, too, simply because they were Mclarens. 1984 springs to mind, too, then there's 85 and 86!

While we're on the subject, in 1994 Benneton were found to be in posession of illegal software, but hadn;t used it (a bit like Mclaren this year!) so we can erase that one; meanwhile, there have been numerous occasions when Ferrari's have run frankly debatablecars, so we'll eras them, too. Lotus, because of the 88 saga, should also have all of their titles rescinded, Tyrrel were banned one year, so they should, too, and so on, and so on.....

Indeed, it is still pretty desperate.
