When I find this picture of the ex F2 GRD 272 of Claude Bourgoignie, modified (in 1978) by a french guy for hillclimb, I was thinking that no thread explain the story of this "Group Racing Developments" adventure...

Gerard, I took this photo at ROUEN in 1974: is it the same car?

Hi Gérard

Thanks for your interresting pic (as usual)

I don't think it's the same car. I believe the sportscar had been built from the GRD 272 that Bourgoignie used sometime in 1973. But not absolutly sure.

Your pic show a "rent a car" Team Robert GRD 274

ok GERARD, but I have the program of that race and the car was entered by Claude BOURGOIGNIE

as GRD 274 FORD.

My mistake, Gérard...my mistake

I have just a PM of the son of the guy. He confirm it was the F2 GRD274 of Claude Bourgoignie. Not an 272...His father converted back to F2, after the sportscar period, but some soon after this more conventional way, infortunatly, the whole thing was destroyed by the big fire of his garage.
End of the story !
